I started to use and have purchased my very own Young Living Essential Oils a couple months ago, probably would say in October. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on my own starter kit for the longes time, and I can honestly say, that these oils have changed the way and how I do things. Who knew so many good,all-natural oils can be good for your body, topically, internally, and by diffusing. As I did my research I realized there was a lot I didn’t know and if I was going to incorporate oils at home, I wanted to make sure I was getting the best. I read blog posts others had done on the different oil companies and finally decided to try Young Living. Also, did you know that by using other Essential oils, it’s good to read the labels; because not all oils are 100% pure, some other oils have other ingredients in them, and not just 100% Lavender or 100% Peppermint, as you look, find and do your research, it’s important to make sure you are getting your money’s worth in the right kind of oils. If you find oils that are from the clearance section at Target or oils that are $1, STAY AWAY!!! As those oils are not made 100% pure of the ingredient that is manufactured by the company it’s self. I am not here to pitch one oil company against another, but for me and Young Living was the best choice. I’ve been thrilled with the results of all the different oils I’ve discovered so far and I want to share how I’ve been using and having fun using them.
It has been fun diffusing oils and applying them topically – I have yet to take them internally, but that is on the list! Young Living oils can be taken internally because they are 100% therapeutic grade unlike cheaper perfume grade essential oils as I mentioned up above.
Young Living offers a very affordable way to get started and is great for those new to using essential oils. While they offer several choices, the Premium Starter Kit is the best value. The kit comes with 11 oils (Frankincense, Lavender, Peppermint, Lemon, Panaway, Purification, Thieves, Lemon, RC, Digize, Copaiba and StressAway), a home diffuser (or you can choose from 4 diffusers), a rollerball for your bottles, lots of samples and literature to help you get started! https://www.youngliving.com/en_US/opportunity My link above if you are every interested in wanting to purchase your own starter kit, you will not be disappointed! But continuing...here are my favorite oils that I love and use everyday:•THIEVES
It’s hard to believe, but this is truly an all-in-one natural cleaner that’s non-toxic, yet super effective. Rather it be the essential oil that you are diffusing or the Thieves Cleaning products. It’s made with 100% plant- and mineral-based ingredients, including.
- Thieves Household Cleaner is a concentrate. For most all-purpose cleaning, dilute 30 parts of water to 1 part of Thieves Household Cleaner. That breaks down to one 64 oz bottle of Thieves Household Cleaner concentrate = about 128 all-purpose spray bottles (30 oz. each) for about 88 cents a bottle. That’s cheaper than most all-natural cleaners on the market. Plus, it smells super fresh and clean, it REALLY does clean everything and the kitchen sink. It can literally replace every cleaner in your home. Thieves: a blend of Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Rosemary, Lemon, and Eucalyptus, is one of the best oils for cleaning. If you still want the convenience of grabbing a bottle from the cabinet, there is also an entire line of Thieves household and personal care items. Definitely recommend you change the way you clean! •FRANKINCENSE is another favorite oil of mine, plus it smells amazing! You might have heard of Frankincense as it’s been referenced in the Bible. In fact, Frankincense and Myrrh were both given to Jesus at the time of his birth. At the time, both were considered more valuable than gold. Today, Frankincense used for meditation and to promote healthy skin. In fact, I like to use frankincense and lavender together for a dynamic skin duo, that’s really improved for my face. A drop in the palm of your hand, and mix it with your everyday moisturizer. It clears away acne and stubborn pimples, and red spots, and so much more! •ROSEMARY is another one of my favorite oils that smell absolutely amazing when diffusing. Rosemary helps you set ,keep, and maintain clear emotional, energetic, physical and spiritual boundaries. Also helps soothes digestive issues and sore muscles aches and pains. Boost Your Immune System. Though winter is the famous season for the cold and flu, sickness knows no season. Keeping your family healthy is important, and rosemary essential oil can help. Inhalation of this essential oil can give the immune system a boost, stimulate antioxidants to fight free radicals, and decrease stress levels. LAVENDER, another great oil that helps you sleep better, while diffusing at night or just during nap times, as it also can help you to relax, as it reduces feels of stress and other anxiety. Or simply add a few drops of lavender on a cotton ball and place by your pillow at night. I have also discovered that lavender can help ear infections, a couple drops on a cotton ball, and simply stick it in your sore ear can do wonders for an ear ache or infection. This particular oil can help with so many other health benefits such as hair, skin irritations, headaches, itchy pain, and more! So, have I convinced you enough with wanting to get your hands on essential oils? There’s so many great oils, and each one has their own benefits and ways to incorporate into your everyday routines an lifestyle. I hope this particular article that I’ve written about essential oils will help you into thinking what’s best for you and your family, I can’t speak for everyone, but this is all just my personal opinions and favorites.
