BeautyCounter Products

Why I am choosing BeautyCounter Products so early before purchase? I got the opportunity to try a few different samples from Elizabeth Lee Walen. I’ve heard of BeautyCounter, but never tried out their products before. That’s the great thing about samples though! You can have that opportunity to try some, or recommend a particular product of your choice. I’ve been doing my research, and using the samples I’ve received thus far. But first; a little history about Beauty Counter products. Beauty Counter is an American direct retail skin care and costmetic brand. As of 2016, the company had 100 products with over 25,000 independent consultants. BeautyCounter released 9 products in March 2013 2013, including facial cleansers, eye creams, and shampoo. The company launched as a direct retail brand and sells through its website, independent consultants and retailer partnerships including J.Crew and the TargetIn 2014, Beautycounter's lip sheer in twig was recognized with one of Allure magazines Best of Beauty awards in 2014, and their dew skin tinted moisturizer was given the award in 2015. In 2016, Beautycounter launched its first line of mascara. At its launch, the company donated $100,000 to global nonprofit Girl EffectLater that year, Allure recognized Beautycounter's Lengthening Mascara as one of its Best of Beauty 2016 products in the natural category. BeautyCounter believes cleaner, better beauty begins with telling you what’s in our products. By educating customers about harmful chemicals in beauty products and recommending safer alternatives whenever possible, I want to empower you to demand better from the beauty industry. Better choices for you skin, and although these products are a bit on the expensive side; at least you’d be getting some amazing results that even I have seen through these small samples, if you don’t need all the luxury/expensive products, I would start off small, ask your friends who are BeautyCounter Consultants, get to know who you are speaking with, what they would recommend to you, get to know what your skin  can handle, what products aren’t for you, if you more sensitive to certain products, let your Consultant know this, also there are a lot more products than just skincare products! There are products for yourself, for your entire family, and gentle baby products, bath and body products, along with make up products as well.
My experience with BeautyCounter products from the samples; I fell in love very quickly with these samples. I loved the Brightening Facial Oil; as help it absorbs excess oil, refines skin texture, and helps calm redness. Perfect for those concerned with clarity, calming, and balancing. it felt great on my skin, and woke the skin up a bit. And since I’ve been waking up early for school, this is a great pick me up for early mornings, because who likes waking up early??! Definitely will add this product to my morning routine. Next product I loved: Was the Adaptive Moisture Lotion; I put this on every morning thus far in my every day morning make up routine. I love the size of the sample, and it gives me enough coverage to my face, where I can see and feel the difference on my skin; it feels softer, and smooth to the touch, it also makes my make up look better and smoother. But also, not only does it provide up to 24 hours of hydration, it also adjusts hydration levels throughout the day for a smoother look and feel. I will be adding this product to my morning routine as well! Next product I tried, but didn’t seem to add enough results to this particular product was; the Charcoal Cleasning Bar. The sample was too small to wash my face with, and to get those results that I was interested in; but ideal for oily or blemish-prone skin, detoxifying cleansing bar absorbs impurities in your skin without drying it out, resulting in a clearer, smoother, and brighter-looking complexion. Although the sample was too small, I sorta got the idea on how my slain felt from it, it did feel a tad smoother and softer; but I am interested in purchasing this product as well.  Out of the three samples thus far, I have 2 more I need to try. If you are interested or maybe I changed your perspective on BeautyCounter products from this blog, I am so glad that I did. Monat Beauty; What the rave is really about?

I got the opportunity to try some Monat beauty products from Katie Wood Hostetler. Never tried these products in my life, but I know tons of people who use these products everyday in their everyday lifestyle and routine, and I know ton of Monat Consultants through Facebook and Instagram. I was able to try these samples last night, as it was hair washing night; as we girls all know how that goes, haha! For starters; I have long, thick, black, curly hair,. I read the instructions throughly in the process of washing, and honestly; I don’t think these samples were enough for my hair to feel the benefits and results that everyone is raving about. I may have to purchase the full size products soon. But the products smell great, and I personally do not care for the Replenish Masque sample; as I wasn’t getting the full benefits of this and it made my hair feel like straw the next day, I would find this worth the money if  it actually restored  the  health of my hair. I have used less expensi

Charcoal Toothpaste, say whaaat??!!

Seeing how on Instagram now, you can basically follow any business company that sells products, which is great because I am one that loves to follow businesses/companies of products that I can either try or purchase eventually, or in this case, just email the business and ask if I can do a review on their products, and I received an instant “yes!” which I thought was great. I am enjoying being a blog Influencer, so I am giving my thoughts on this toothpaste; Hello activated Charcoal with fresh mint & coconut oil toothpaste.  I was intrigued to see an unfamiliar brand that’s focused on being all natural. I picked up the box and started reading the packaging. Words and phrases like: no dyes; no preservatives; and no artificial sweeteners caught my eye. Curious I turned the box over and continued to like what I read: Never tested on animals. Vegan + leaping bunny certified. 100% recyclable paperboard + printed with soy inks. “Wow,” I thought to myself, “Another brand focused
